Sherry Golding

Sherry Golding, 54, of Winnsboro passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Tyler. Sherry was born in Waco on August 5, 1965, the daughter of James Nichols and Betty Sue (Pollard) Nichols. She worked as a medical assistant for many years. Sherry married Karl Golding on April 24, 2000 in Greenville.

Sherry is preceded in her death by her parents, James and Betty Nichols; son, Jason Smith; and brother, Carl Slimp.

Sherry’s family members who are cherishing the memories of her life are her husband, Karl Golding; sons, Shane Whittington and his wife Reagan and Cody Whittington and his wife Christie; sister, Diane Jackson and her husband Mike; and brother, Jim Nichols and his wife Paula.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 12 pm at Quinlan Funeral Home with the graveside service starting at 2 pm in Lakeside Memorial Park with Cody Whittington officiating.
