Jarmon Harris, Jr.

Memorial service for Jarmon H. Harris Jr., age 79, of Point, TX  will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at County Line Baptist Church in Point, Texas. Mr. Harris, Jr. passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at CHRISTUS Mother Francis Hospital, Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Jarmon, aka “Slick,” was born on January 29, 1942 in Point, Texas to Jarmon Sr. and Odelle Harris.  He married Vicki Griffin on February 1, 1980 in Granbury, Texas.  He served in the US Army.  Jarmon was a Painter by trade and a member of the Painters Union. He was the founding president of the Circuit Riders NETX chapter and was serving as an evangelist for the Circuit Riders Motorcycle Ministry. Jarmon always had a song in his heart for the Lord. He loved playing guitar and singing in the church band; he also wrote a couple of southern gospel songs.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie; children, Jan Morgan and husband, Greg, Julie Webb and husband, Kevin, Wesley Harris and wife, Brandi, Marisha Dotson and husband, Tanner; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Wally Harris and wife, Donna; sister, Sonja Davis; many family and friends.

Jarmon was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Shyan Harris.
