Zona Fullington

Zona Rose Fullington, 79, of Quinlan Texas, passed away on September 28, 2011. Zona was born on August 16, 1932 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Frank and Gussie Dowd. Zona was a watch maker for most of her life and was a loving devoted wife and mother. Zona is survived by her son Gordon Fullington, Jr., and wife Karen of Quinlan, one sister; Hattie Berry of Quinlan, one brother; Noble McBride, one grandson; Charles Fullington, two great grandchildren; Christa and Caitlin Fullington, and numerous nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank Dowd and Gussie Mae Lea, husband Gordon Fullington, Sr., one son; Bruce Alan Fullinton and one granddaughter; Tatum Nicole Lewis. Her funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday September 30, 2011 in the Chapel at Quinlan Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas with Rev. Karen Fullington officiating. Visitation with her family will be Friday before the service at 9:00 am. Burial will be at Laurel Land in Dallas after the service at 2:00 pm.
