Vicki Lynn Stovall

Vicki Lynn Conaway Stovall, 68, of Quinlan, Texas passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. She was born on December 15, 1956 to parents John Oliver Conaway and Carolyn Ruth Conaway Hill in Denver, Colorado. Vicki met the love of her life, Darrell Lynn Stovall and married him on June 6th, 1975.

Vicki was a beloved wife and mother. She loved to do arts & crafts and crocheting. Maw loved helping Daddy outside with the cows and pigs. She loved taking care of all her babies and all the ones she took in over the years. She loved being around her family and friends. Maw was a very compassionate soul with an open heart. You would never leave her home with an empty stomach or heart. You knew you were loved. She loved to cook for any and everyone. Maw never met a stranger. Maw is a spirit that will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Vicki is preceded in death by her beloved husband Darrell Stovall, parents John Oliver Conaway and Carolyn Ruth Conaway Hill, brother Gary Conaway, and sister Diana Tepper.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister and husband, Carol and Tic Kelly; sister, Tami Conaway; brother and wife, Scott and Joanne Conaway; brother and wife, Pat and Debbie Conaway; her lifelong best friend of sixty years, Sherry Downing; children and spouses, Tina and Paul Sexton, Tonya Trail and Randal Whitaker, Sonny and Savannah Stovall; she mothered many others that her kids drug up over the years: Janice Sexton, Christy Sharpe, Doug Lovern, Erick Berely, Cody Dyess; grandchildren and better halves, Tyler Trail, Alyssa Bishop, Stetson Trail, Dalton and Brandi Trail, Khallee Trail and Garrett Roberts, David Kemp, Trevor Kemp and Jayden Drake, Brittiny Davis and Emilea Anderson, Makenna Stovall, Morgan Stovall and Savannah Moreno, Melanie, Breeana, Syton, Alize Stanphill; great grandchildren, Adriana Davis, Sawyer Jenkins; and many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Funeral service for Vicki will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10:00 am at Quinlan Funeral Home with Erick Berely officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Trail, Dalton Trail, Morgan Stovall, Trevor Kemp, Stetson Trail, Garrett Roberts, David Kemp, Dennis Conaway, and John Conaway. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service with interment to follow at Brigham Cemetery in Campbell, Texas.
