Thomas Jack Lairsey

Thomas Jack Lairsey was born on December 10, 1950 and entered eternal rest on February 16, 2026. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and hardworking man who meant so much to so many.

Thomas was raised in Georgia with a big a family. He made many a place a home before finally settling in Quinlan, Texas, where he built a life centered around family.

In 1973, he met the love of his life, Cheryl Lairsey. Together they raised four beautiful children, Jackie Lairsey, Collena Lacher, Lisa Butler, and Daniel Lairsey. He also had fourteen wonderful grandkids and eleven great-grandbabies. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, teaching them the value of honesty and dedication. If he fell, he would always get right back up, no matter how long it took. As the owner of his own roofing company, Thomas was known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and the pride he took in doing every job right. He had the special opportunity to work and build alongside his son, something that brought him joy and fulfillment.

Thomas was a man of great character--kind-hearted, dependable, generous. He wasn't just a father to his own kids, but a father to his grandkids. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, or simply share a laugh. His strength was matched only by his compassion.

He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his steady presence, and the warmth he brought into every room. His legacy lives through his wife, his children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know him.
