Thelma Winchester

Thelma Lucille Winchester, 78, of Quinlan passed away Saturday evening, July 21, 2018 in Quinlan. Thelma was born in Princeton on July 24, 1939 the daughter of Jesse Bain and Lillian (Smith) Watson. She married William "Bennie" Winchester on June 22, 1957 in Dallas. Bennie preceded her in death in 2014. Thelma retired from the communications field as a quality control supervisor. She was also a member of Union Valley Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Charlotte Nall (Bobby), Rickey Winchester, and Jimmy Winchester; grandchildren, Jerry Kuykendall, Cristy Kuykendall, Craig Kuykendall, Amanda Tatum, Nolan Winchester, and Kimberly Winchester; fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Watson and Tommy Watson; and numerous other family members and friends.

Mrs. Winchester was also preceded in death by her son, William Glenn Winchester and eleven siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in the Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ed Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Farmersville. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am prior to the service.
