Tanya Marie Tucker

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tanya Marie Tucker, who entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 44.

Tanya was born on January 25, 1982, at Fort Hood, Texas, and was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she attended school and formed many lifelong friendships. She was known for her kind heart, resilient spirit, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Tanya had a way of making people laugh, offering comfort when it was needed most, and leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She embraced life with authenticity and never hesitated to be herself. Tanya loved the color pink, enjoyed expressing herself through her tattoos, and treasured the moments she spent with those she loved. Her greatest legacy is found not in possessions, but in the memories she created and the love she shared.

Tanya is lovingly survived by her father, Albert Tucker (Donna) of Quinlan, Texas; her brother, Billy Tucker (Tiffany) of Amity, Arkansas; her longtime partner, Johnny Butler of Dallas, Texas; and many beloved extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Tammy Tucker (Alsup); her maternal grandparents, Billy Joe Sr. and Dorothy Alsup; and her paternal grandparents, Roy and Rosa Tucker.

Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that love never truly leaves us. Tanya’s memory will live on in every story shared, every smile remembered, and every butterfly that gently reminds us that those we love are never truly far away.

In accordance with Tanya’s wishes, no public services will be held. Her family asks that those who knew and loved her honor her memory by cherishing the time they have with those they love, extending kindness whenever possible, and remembering that every day is a precious gift.
