Scotty Leolin Hand

Scotty Leolin Hand loving father and husband of Wills Point, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at the Veterans Hospital, Dallas, TX. Scott was born in Seiling, Oklahoma on February 12, 1941, to Dee and Ruth Hand. He was the 9th child born in a large family with 11 siblings. Growing up on a farm in Erie, Kansas.

Scott served his country in the U.S. Army as a master mechanic. Following his military service, he continued his career as a mechanic, business owner and tradesman with many abilities. He retired as a business owner in the oil industry. Following retirement, he and his wife Norma returned to Texas, settling in Wills Point. Here he continued to stay busy with many projects, horses and other animals.

Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Norma Hand and by his children: Cheryl Hand, Kevin Hand, Philip Pruitt, Kelly Miller and wife April, Jeb Miller and his wife Brandi. As a grandpa and greatpa, Scott had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. His teachings and humor will be sorely missed.
