Sandra Kay Spindle

Sandra K. Spindle passed away peacefully on the morning of January 9, 2026. Sandra was born on the 28th of June, 1951. She was preceded in death by her… Dad, “Paw-Paw” Spindle; her Mother, “Maw-Maw” Spindle; her sisters, Jean Lowery, Janet Ashton, Tooter Garcia; and her brothers, Jerry Spindle and Kenneth Spindle. She is survived by her son, Brian Spindle; his wife, Shonda Spindle; grandsons, Bryce Spindle, Braylen Spindle, Braxton Spindle, and Cobi Smith; her great-grandson, Rowen Spindle; and her brother, James Spindle. Mom had many nieces, nephews, and tons of friends. Mom was a lot of things; she took care of her only son by working two jobs most of her life while missing only a handful of his ballgames. As she got older, she worked as a bartender until it was time to start taking care of family and friends. She was the first one to help anyone, anyway she could. She took care of sick family members and friends many times without hesitation. That was her calling and she enjoyed it.

One of her proudest moments came when she found out she was going to be a grandma (MIMI) in 1998. She soon became a grandma of three and life was good. She spoiled the kids like any grandmother would do and eventually became “A LEGEND” to them. The kids had years of fun with her…scaring her at any chance they could, even up to the last days of her life.

Just when she thought her life was good with having grandkids…the day came on July 29th, 2025, when she became a great-grandmother to Rowen Lane Spindle, and how she loved that baby unconditionally.

Mom was not just a mom…she was a sister, an aunt, friend, grandmother, great-grandmother, and most of all…A HERO!!!
