Robert Singleton

Robert Leroy Singleton, 70, passed away on February 3, 2014 in Tyler. He was born on April 30, 1943 in Stringtown to his parents, Marvin and Hazel Singleton. Those left to celebrate his life include his wife of 51 years, Callie Singleton of Quinlan, daughter; Debbie France and husband Rowdy of Birthright, son; Buster Singleton and wife Christi of Lindale, grandchildren; Maegan, Travis, Colt, Khal and Layne, his mother; Hazel Bumpass, special friends; Bob and Linda Stauffer of Birch Tree, MO, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Singleton, brother, Marvin Singleton Jr., nephew Greg, and niece Sherry. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Quinlan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Quinlan. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to The American Heart Association.
