Robert Quenten Baker, 49, of Royse City passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Rockwall County. A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00pm Friday, April 15, 2016 at Lakeway United Methodist Church in Pottsboro, Tx. The family asks, for those that wish, to please prepare a story that you would like to share to remember Robert. A second Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, April 23, details are still pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Quinlan Funeral Home.
Robert was born July 31, 1966 in Bonham, Texas to Thomas Estal Baker and Jennita Ann Wingate Baker. He got his Bachelor degree in communications and advertising, and later earned his teaching certificate. He loved his family and it showed by his devotion in providing a happy and loving home. He was a joy to be around and brought energy into every room he entered. Robert loved all animals and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 11 years Lee Anne Baker of Royse City; son Kyle Walker of The Colony; granddaughter Kairi Walker; mother Jennita Wingate of Pottsboro; brother Thomas Vincent Baker of Pasadena, TX; uncle Fred Wingate and wife Sandra of Tyler; aunts Judy Svoboda and husband John of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Bonnie McGuire and husband Steve of Kilgore; father-in-law and mother-in-law Ernest and Rita Bolz of Royse City; brother-in-law Larry Bolz and wife Jayne of Southmayd, TX. Robert was preceded in death by his father; grandparents Wayne and Sally Baker, and Thelbert and Helen Wingate.
