Rita Gayle McAlister, 59, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 in Arlington. Rita was born on November 14, 1959 in Muleshoe, Texas the daughter of Wilmer and Sammie Ruth (Martin) Conner. She married Jimmy McAlister in Terrell, December 2012.
Rita is preceded in her death by her parents; brother, Rodney Watts; nephew, Mike Watts; great niece, Sadie Milam; and nephew-in-law, Brandon Gipson.
Rita’s family who are cherishing the memories of her life are her husband; daughter, Amanda Block; son-in-law, Spencer Block; grandchildren, Holden Conner, Justin, Brittany, Joshua, and Rachel Block; sister, Rhonda Milam; nephews, Joe Watts, Jeffrey Sellars, David Watts; nieces, Sandy Dolan, Samantha Gipson, and several great nephews and nieces.
Visitation with the family will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 11, 2019 with the funeral service starting at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home with Reverend David Watts officiating. Interment will follow the service at West Cemetery in Quinlan.
