Phyllis Kruszynski

Phyllis Jean Kruszynski, 73, affectionately known as "Bama", passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. Phyllis was born on June 1, 1941 to John and Rose Konkowski in Cleveland, Ohio. Phyllis would work for many years as an office manager for various car dealerships. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose Konkowski; her brother John Konkowski, Jr; and husband, Donald Kruszynski. Those left to celebrate her life include her son, Paul Kruszynski; daughters, Cheryl Scott and Donna Kruszynski; grandchildren, Michael Cowen, Robert Cowen, Jason Kruszynski and Christine Scott; great-grandchildren, Shaely Heatherly and Taylor Cowen; brothers, Don Konkowski and his wife Fran, Russell Konkowski and his wife Joann; sisters, Patricia Legg and her husband Charles, Denise Pekar; as well numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, August 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
