Phyllis Bumpus

Phyllis Laura Bumpus, 69, of Quinlan passed away on November 23, 2018 in Greenville. Phyllis was born in Mississippi on July 4, 1949, the daughter of William Luther Bumpus, II and Rosalie (Bowen) Bumpus. Before her disability, Phyllis worked for the US Post Office in Dallas.

Phyllis is preceded in her death by her parents, William and Rosalie Bumpus, two brothers, William Luther Bumpus, III and Burdette Bumpus.

Her family members who are cherishing the memories of her life are her cousins, Holly Vassar and her husband Allan, Harold Elam, Jr., Terry Elam, Harriet Hayes, and Hope Watkins, numerous other cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home with Pastor David Hammond officiating.
