Phillip Dale Parks, 62, of Royse City, Texas, passed away peacefully in his home on October 28, 2025.
Born on February 8, 1963 in Dallas, Texas, Phillip lived a life full of love, laughter, and music. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother who cherished time spent with family and friends.
Phillip’s ultimate passion was singing, a joy he shared freely with everyone around him. He also loved bowling, fishing, camping, and vacationing with his wife; adventures that reflected his love for the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life.
Phillip shared a deep and unconditional love with his wife, Kamy. The bond they shared was one of true partnership and devotion — filled with laughter, support, and an unwavering connection that could be felt by everyone around them. She was his best friend, and together they built a life full of love, memories, and adventure.
Phillip had the biggest heart and would go above and beyond to help his friends and loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and forever remembered for his deep sense of humor and the love he shared so easily.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kamy Parks; his children, Jason Parks and Amanda Haines; his grandchildren, Jayla Parks, Kai Scullin, and Waylon Haines; his mother, Gloria James; his stepfather, Roger James; and his brother, Danny Parks.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Paul Parks, and his brother, Russell Parks.
A memorial service to celebrate Phillip’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Quinlan Funeral Home, 8930 Hwy 34 S, Quinlan, TX 75474. All who knew and loved Phillip are welcome to attend.
