Patricia Virginia (Porter) Myrick, age 70, of Forney, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Pat was born January 30, 1952 in San Diego, California to SL and Joy Porter. She was raised in Ferriday, Louisiana. She married JC Myrick II (Sonny) on May 1, 1970 and immediately moved to Mesquite, Texas where they lived until they moved to Mississippi in 1993 through 2012 and decided to come back to Texas residing in Forney until she went home to her Heavenly Father. Pat enjoyed crocheting, traveling, cooking for and spending time with her family.
Pat is survived by her loving husband Sonny of 52 years; her beloved sidekick, Chewy; son, Kevin and wife, Rachel; daughter, Amy and husband, Travis Parker; sister, Carolyn Porter and brother, Richard Charles (RC) Porter; grandchildren, Natalie Myrick, Morgan Mallory and husband Michael, Paige Myrick, Michael Mullins and wife, Ashley, Kevin Mullins, and great-grandson, Wyatt Mallory; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandmother Virginia Porter.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you donate to a charity of your cause.
