Opal Jean Pool, 63; passed away on Wednesday, November 21,2012 in Dallas, Texas. Opal was born to James an Vera Williams on March 4, 1949 in Dallas, Texas. Opal was a long time member of the Meadowbrook Missionary Baptist Church in Wills Point. Opal was also the popular and well known manager of the Greenville Truckstop in Caddo Mills for over twenty years. Opal is preceded in death by her parents, James and Vera and husband, David Franklin Pool. Those left to celebrate her life include her daughters, Hermie Jean Picks and her husband Paul, and Jamie Dee Plant and her husband Tony; son, Tommy Lee Adams, Jr. and his wife, Rosalie; brother Johnny Williams and his wife Flo; sisters, Maxine Burroughs and Lucy McFadden; as well as eight grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends and neighbors. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Meadowbrook Missionary Baptist Church in Will Point, Texas . Reverend Cory Williams will officiate.
