Obie Ashley

Obie Ashley of Greenville passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 in Dallas. He was born the son of Arthur and Pauline (Wygal) Ashley on January 13, 1951 in Grapevine. He married Delores Calhoun in Greenville on March 18, 1972.
Obie was a wonderful husband and loving father. Loved dearly by his family, he will forever live on in their hearts.
Those left to cherish his memory: his wife of 44 years, Delores Ashley; sons, Brian Ashley and Eric Ashley; daughter, Ginger Ashley Stutzman, and her husband Johnathan; grandchildren, Dean Stutzman and Makinzie Stutzman; sisters, Brenda Owens and Debbie Malone, and her husband Keith; nieces, Amber Helmstettler and Ashley Landry; and nephew, Kyle Rainwater.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnny Helmstetler officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park with Kevin Calhoun, Jonathan Stutzman, Johnny Helmstetler, John Helmstetler Jr., Dan Stutzman, and Jake Stutzman serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
