Norman Blunt, 64 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Norman was born September 27, 1951 to Nolan and Pauline Blunt in Quinlan, Texas.
Norman worked for over thirty years with the United States Post Office, both here in Quinlan and later in Oklahoma City and Edmond, Oklahoma. Norman was giving spirit. There was nothing he would not do for his friends and neighbors - even strangers that crossed his path would find a compassionate heart and a servant's spirit. But Norman greatest passion was for his family. He loved his girls, Michelle, Stephanie and Alisha; his grandchildren and his brother and sisters. His is a heart that will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Pauline Blunt and his wife, Vicki Blunt.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Michelle Blunt, Stephanie Blunt and Alicia Blunt; nine grandchildren; brother Billy Ray Blunt and his wife Sandra; sisters, Nancy Harrison and her husband Chuck, Anita Durham; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; extended family, friends and neighbors.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Quinlan Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at IOOF Cemetery in Quinlan, Texas.
