Misti Withrow

May 20, 1973 — November 30, 2019

Misti Lynn Withrow left her earthly home to join her Lord and Savior on November 29th, 2019. Our Sweet Misti passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Garland, Texas. She was born May 20th, 1973 to Jack Lynn Withrow and Tresa Lea Groves Withrow (Hammons).

Misti lived her life without abandon, her personality was large and she truly lived her life dancing like no one was watching. She loved unconditional. Misti never had children of her own, but she had her beloved cats, Finn and Dusti. Misti loved a good strong cup of coffee, beautiful sunsets, thunderstorms, photography, music, and laughing. She had the loudest and most contagious laugh. Her sense of humor was one of a kind. She was a very talented photographer. Her creative eye found beauty in small things that most of us take for granted and she documented those things through her photography. Misti lived her life very simply-with a generous heart sharing anything she had.

Misti loved the Lord. She had a real and personal relationship with Jesus. She strived to walk with him and be a Christian example to all that she met. She loved sharing the love of Christ with others. Misti was a beloved member of The Point Christian Church in Temple, Texas. Misti formed many friendships within her church over the years and the members and pastors of the Point were most definitely her extended family.

Left to cherish her memory are brother, Thomas Withrow and wife Amy of Quinlan, Texas, their children, Carli, husband Mason Aten and daughter Laramie; sister, Alyssa, husband Mason Cooley and daughter Emalee; brother, Thomas Allen, wife Shelby and son Cason, Curtis Smith, and Kimberly Chapman; brother, Russell Hammons and wife Rachylle, of Caddo Mills, their children Payton, Ryan, Laney, and Aubree Hammons; step-parents, Garry and Darlene Hammons; step grandmother Melba Sue Shay of Sulphur Springs; and countless family members and friends.

Misti didn’t have biological sisters, but her cousin Penny Williams Randolph was her long time best friend and she will truly miss her and will forever have a void where Misti once stood.

Awaiting her arrival in Heaven are her beloved parents Jack and Teresa, grandparents DB and Maybell Withrow, and her precious nephew Brayden Withrow. We know that Misti being reunited with her loved ones was a site to behold!!
