Minerva Velasquez Gomez

Minerva Velasquez Gomez, age 81, of Quinlan passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Gomez was born April 20, 1941 in Villaldalma, Nueva Leon, Mexico to Andrea Ochoa and Felipe Velasquez. She married Tomas Gomez on May 26, 1972 in San Antonio, Texas. Minerva was retired but still loved to cook and clean.

Minerva is survived by her sisters, Mercedees Hernandez of Dallas, Gloria of Loredo, Mexico; brother, Lupe Chapa of Dallas; sons, Tomas Gomez Jr. of Dallas, Lucio Gomez and wife Luwanna of Quinlan, Phillip Michael Gomez of Quinlan; grandchildren, Samantha Marie Gomez, Sabrina Alexis Gomez, Elizabeth Gomez, Sarah Alexandra Gomez, Kayla Rene Gomez, Adrian Hernandez; great-grandchildren, Mia Giselle Gomez, Elijah Gomez, J. Gomez.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Gomez, Sr.; parents, Felipe Velasquez and Andrea Ochoa; Gloria Lucio, Mercadez Hernandez; uncle, Israel Velasquez.
