Merle Walls

Merle Walls, 84, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in Terrell, Texas. Merle was born February 16, 1927 to E.L. and Carrie Sosebee in Chillicothe, Texas. She would meet and later marry W. O. Walls. Merle is predeceded by her husband, W. O. Walls; parents, E.L. and Carrie; brothers, Junior Lee Sosebee and Lester Sosebee; sisters, Jackie Bean and Bonnie York; as well as grandson, Michael Dodson and great grandson, Christopher. Those left to celebrate her life include her three children, W. O. Walls, Jr., Patricia A. Walls, Janie Parlier and her husband, Malcolm; six grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held the following day, Friday, December 21, 2012 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Texas.
