Melvin Eugene Howell, Sr.

Melvin Eugene Howell, Sr. passed away on November 7, 2023, in Royse City. He was born on February 5, 1959, in Boynton, Oklahoma. Melvin was known for his hard work ethic, compassion for others, and love for his family.

Melvin made his career as a machinist at Raytheon, where he dedicated many years of service. Outside of his career, Melvin had a deep passion for sports. He thoroughly enjoyed watching games and cheering on his favorite teams. 

Melvin was a loving son of John Moton Howell and Lorene (Carter) Howell, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sisters: Connie Lang of Boynton, OK; Pattie Wilkins of Jenks, OK; Dinessa Howell of Broken Arrow, OK. He also leaves behind five sons: Melvin Howell Jr. of Dallas, TX; Curtis Howell of Dallas; Bryan Howell of Dallas; Chris Howell of Abrey, TX; Ben Howell of Boynton, OK.

Melvin Eugene Howell Sr.'s departure has left an indescribable void in the lives of those who knew him best. His kind heart and genuine nature will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
