Melanie Gay Harp

Melanie Gay Harp, born in 1958, lived a wonderful life in Royse City, TX. Sadly, she passed away on October 30th, 2024, in her home.

Melanie was born in Ft. Worth, TX, to Donna Joy Middleton. She attended school in Ft. Worth and later married C.H. Harp, with whom she had four children. She was an avid artist, a music lover, and donated her time generously. Melanie was the epitome of kindness. Always quick with a smile,  her natural warmth brought out the best in everyone around her.

She’s survived by her siblings, Kim and Shane, her four children, Hunter, Summer, Harley, and Haylon, as well as her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by C.H. Harp, her mother, Joy, and her sisters, Becky and Sally.

She was a devoted and wonderful mother, a kind and loving friend, and a child of God. She was loved by her entire family and will be profoundly  missed.

Memorial services will be private, but if so inclined, a donation to a local charity or food bank would be greatly appreciated.
