Maxine Irvin

Maxine Irvin, 80, of Garland passed away on October 21, 2016 in the peace of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Maxine was born in Mesquite on November 22, 1935 to Alvie Lewis and Gertrude (Ragsdale) Lewis. She married G. C. Irvin, who precedes her in death. She is also preceded by her parents; a daughter, Rita Malone of Quinlan; and a son, Jerry Lynn Goines of Dallas.

Her family that is cherishing the memories of her life are her daughters, Delores Elliott and her husband James and Theresa Artigue and her husband Gary; son, Dale Goines and his wife Cathy; stepdaughter, Linda Garcia and her husband Mike; sister, Virginia Barrett; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her service is planned for 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in the Chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home with pastor Kevin Wells officiating. Visitation with her family will be Tuesday night from 5:00 to 7:00 at Quinlan Funeral Home, 8930 Hwy 34 So., Quinlan, Texas. Following the funeral service, her interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park in Quinlan.
