Mary Stewart

Mary Alice Penny Stewart, 79, of Quinlan passed away on February 4, 2011. She was born on April 5, 1931 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Albert & Ella May Penny. She lived in Quinlan most of her life. Mary married Cody Stewart July 29, 1949 in Greenville, Texas. Mary was a beautician, wife and mother. She was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed gardening, cooking, making crafts and taking care of her family. Mary is survived by her children Billy O. Stewart and wife Faye, Cody D. Stewart and wife Bonnie; brother Albert Penny; sisters Mary Lou Penny, Ruby Lee Penny and Gladus Johnson. Grandchildren Lee Stewart and wife Ashley, Kevin Stewart and wife Anna, Heather King and Husband Brent and Cody Stewart and wife Rachel; great-grandchildren Nick & Sarah Khan, Justin Pierson, Tony Stewart and Case King. She is preceded in death by her husband; sons Weldon A. Stewart and Lee K. Stewart. Graveside services will be held at Memory Land in Greenville Texas at a later date.
