Mary Herbrich

Mary (Lazich) Herbrich, age 86, of Quinlan, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 22, 1940, to John and Mary (Dvorak) Lazich in Dallas, Texas.

Mary was married to Gilbert Herbrich for sixty-three years, and they were devoted to each other. As a homemaker, Mary loved to cook and she was a neat freak—always cleaning. She kept their house spotless. Mary also was a little pistol—she said whatever she thought. In her free time, Mary enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, knitting, coloring with pencils, and fishing.

Mary is survived by her grandson, Brandon McKinney, and sister, Helen West.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Herbrich; daughter, Karen Stephens; and parents, John Lazich and Mary Dvorak Lazich.

A memorial service honoring Mary's life will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Quinlan Church of Christ, 8481 Hwy 34 S, Quinlan, Texas 75474.
