Lyllian Holcomb

Lyllian Holcomb, 89 of Royse City, Texas passed away late Friday night on November 2, 2018 in Greenville, Texas. Lyllian was born on January 27, 1929 in Royse City the daughter of Frank and Flora Gay (Dixson) Ford. She married Max Holcomb on April 4, 1947 and they shared over 71 years of marriage. She was a member of Glenview Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

Lyllian's family members who are cherishing the memories of her life are her husband Max, children, Chris Holcomb and wife Leahsa, Kaylar Page and husband Larry, Holly Thaxton and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Azur Williams, Justin Holcomb, Tyler Norsworthy, Tanner Jenkins, Miriam Harper, Hezekiah Jenkins, Candace Smith, Crysti Heaton and Tony Thaxton. Great grandchildren Lyllian Williams, Davis Williams, Oliver Max Williams, Taylor Holcomb, Nathan Holcomb, Nicholas Holcomb, Davis Smith, Simon Smith, Payton Delp, Layla Heaton, Camrynn Thaxton and Clara Thaxton.

Lyllian was preceded in her death by her parents; brother Cliff Ford, sisters Ruth Ansley and Kay Ford.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 10:00am in the Quinlan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Samuel Glenn officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Monday night at Quinlan Funeral Home. Her burial will take place in Restland Cemetery in Dallas at 2:00pm.
