Luther Paul McIlveene, 67, of Quinlan passed away on January 13, 2020 in Sulphur Springs. Paul was born on January 2, 1953 in Bakersfield, CA the son of Clarence Wilson McIlveene and Dortha Marie (Ballard) McIlveene. He was married to Diana Lynn (Wix) McIlveene who preceded him in death on June 14, 2016. Paul was a commercial truck driver that loved the long hauls across the United States of America.
Paul is survived by his son, Paul Wayne McIlveene; sisters, Lois Yaws, Elizabeth Read and her husband Harold, and Marie Fuller and her husband David; and his brother, Aubrey McIlveene and his wife Sherry; a sister-in-law, Jane McIlveene; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Paul is also preceded in his death by his parents, and brothers Bryant McIlveene and John McIlveene.
A memorial service is planned for February 8, 2020 at Clarks Chapel Church of God, 6345 FM 47, Point, Texas at 2:00 pm with Pastor Nathan Bounds officiating.
