LuAnn Marie Reicherts

LuAnn “Lu” Marie Reicherts, age 68, of Quinlan, passed away January 30, 2023. Her family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.

Lu was born in Mason City, Iowa on October 8, 1954.  She grew up in Iowa and moved to Texas in 1998 due to a transfer with her job.  She worked in retail sales for many years at K-mart and then at Home Depot until her retirement in October 2021.

Lu had a love for fishing, reading, antiques, and baking. She was known for her chocolate chip cookies. She was kind, generous, and friendly to everyone she met.

Lu is survived by her siblings, Ron Reicherts and wife Sue of Trimont, MN, Donna Hendrick of Clear Lake, IA, Rodney Reicherts and wife Coleen of Carrollton, TX; nieces and nephews, Travis Hendrick, Cody Abundis, Bryan Fick (Nichole), Heather Larson (Ryan), Hilary Baarson (Ray), Derek Baarson (Laura), Shannon Reicherts, and Sarah Reicherts; her best friend Jodie, numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Lois Costello Reicherts; brother Charles “Chuckie” Reicherts.
