Louise James

Margaret "Louise" James, 89, of Quinlan passed away on July 4, 2018 in Greenville. She was born on November 29, 1928 in Rice to her parents, Willie St. Ama and Elzie (Lundy) St. Ama. On February 22, 1947 she married Albert "Al" Julius James. Al preceded her in death on November 7, 2007 after 60 years of marriage.

Louise was a seamstress and made western jackets and clothing for Sonny James and Lefty Frizelle. She hand crafted porcelain dolls and loved going to Canton Trade Days to sell her ceramics and dolls she created. She loved tending to her roses in the garden, fishing and camping with Al and their friends. She also loved drinking coffee and creating baby blankets with her best friend Frances. They were members of a CB radio club and were affectionately known as "Seam Ripper" and "Cesar." Louise was of the Baptist Faith.

Those who are cherishing the memories of her life are her daughters, Donna Brandeberry and husband Brian, Sue Koen and her husband Robert, Anna Taylor and her husband Brad, and Linda Wismoski; grandchildren, Cassie Hall, Kelley Stine and her husband Spencer, Haley Brandeberry and her fiancé Robby, Danny Thomas, Bradie Thomas, Charles Frank, Joshua Koen, Brandon Taylor, and Ashley Taylor; numerous great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Public visitation with Louise's family will be Friday night, July 6, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the funeral home with Bro. David Hammond officiating. Interment will follow the service in Lakeside Memorial Park in Quinlan with Danny Thomas, Charles Frank, Spencer Stine, Cameron Hall, Joshua Koen, and Mike Merchant serving as pallbearers.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Louise's honor.
