Linda Lee Morris

Linda Lee Morris, beloved wife and mother, went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 23, 2025 at the age of 76.

Linda was born on September 10, 1948 in Sunbury, PA to Amelia and Harry Wiand. She attended Sidney High School in Nebraska and worked for Walmart in Quinlan, TX for 20 years where she made lifelong friends.

She was an avid pet lover and her love of cats resulted in her caring for many a stray cat that found its way onto her porch, loving and tending for them while finding them forever homes.

She lived out her faith in God by serving others, teaching adult Bible study, and sharing the love of Christ with everyone she met. While we mourn her absence, we find solace in the knowledge that she has now triumphantly returned to our Heavenly Father.

John 11:25-26, "Jesus said unto her, 'I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.'"

Linda is survived by her husband Ross Morris; daughter Sonia Alexander; son-in-law George Alexander; sons John Larry Cook and Larry Dean Cook; grandchildren Derbe Heath (husband Matthew Heath), Chazz Reg, Justin Alexander, and John Tyler Cook; and great grandsons Bryce and Barrett Heath. She also leaves many other family members and beloved friends who will dearly miss her. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Robert Daniel DeWeese, and her beloved cats Chewy and Angel.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
