Laura Joette Roland

Laura Joette Roland, age 64, of Hutchins passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in Dallas. She was born on September 25, 1959 in Dallas to Bobby Joe and Annie (Collander) Farmer. Laura married Robert Leon Roland, Jr. April 1, 1982 in Dallas. She worked in the restaurant and entertainment industry as an operations manager. In her free time, Laura enjoyed gardening in the rose and herb garden, entertaining with family and friends, collecting Disney memorabilia, spending time at the zoo, and being with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her brother, Sidney “Sid” Farmer and wife, Terry of Commerce; son, Robert “Robby” Roland and wife, Amanda Marie of Hutchins; grandsons, Donald James Roland, Tiarnan Xane Roland; nephews, Joe P. Ogle, Jason Farmer, Allen Ogle, and Jerry Farmer.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Joe Farmer and Annie Collander Farmer; and sister, Lisa Ball.
