Larry Vernon Wilkins, 67, of Lone Oak , passed away on Nov 8, 2011 in Mesquite, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 29, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. The son of Furman Luther and Mary Sue Wilkins. He was a retired horseshoer and machinist. His family members that are remembering his life are son Vernon Wilkins and daughter in Law Rhonda Wilkins, son Charles Lee Wilkins, stepdaughter Shelly Portwood, brother John Paul and wife Shirley Wilkins, brother Danny and wife Brenda Wilkins, brother David and wife Donna Wilkins, and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his mother and father. Visitation Friday November 11 6:00 - 8 pm. Service Saturday November 12 10:30 am
