Funeral service for Kandy Kaye (Pavao) Boyd, age 52, of Quinlan will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Hope of Glory Worship Center in West Tawakoni with Keith Goodson officiating. Visitation will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Hope of Glory Worship Center. Mrs. Boyd passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her home.
Kandy was born June 7, 1971 in Kaufman, Texas to Buzz and Patricia (McBride) Pavao. She married Billy Boyd on February 21, 1995 in Hunt County, Texas. She was a homemaker who enjoyed coloring, hanging with her kids and grandkids, and jet-skiing with her husband.
She is survived by her sisters, Lisa Ann Wimberly and husband, Clint, of Big Sandy, Angela Chilcutt and husband, Brian, of Granbury; daughters, Shasta Haley and husband, Coby, of Canton, Amanda Mason and husband, Jacob, of Seven Points; grandchildren, Braiden and Kailee Haley of Canton, Brandon and Brooklyn Mason of Seven Points; nephews, Tyler Krumnow and wife, Brittany, of Grand Prairie, Jeremy Wullaert and wife, April, of Brownsboro, Ty Chilcutt of Granbury; great-nieces, Parker Krumnow of Grand Prairie, Ramsey Wullaert of Brownsboro; great-nephew, Grayson Wullaert of Brownsboro.
Kandy was preceded in death by her Nanny, Edna Lee Snow McBride; father-in-law, Elmer Boyd; mother-in-law, Rena Boyd; uncles, Johnny McBride, Sr., Steven McBride, Lee Roy McBride; grandparents, Arthur and Bernice Pavao.
