Jimmie Hill

Jimmie Hill, 94, passed away on August 16, 2018 at her home in Quinlan. Jimmie was born on April 20, 1924 in Bonham, the daughter of Brazz Charles Chaffin and Altha Mae (Brown) Chaffin. She Married Cecil H. Hill on September 28, 1973 in Mesquite. She was a loving wife, mother, and Grandmother to her family.

Jimmie is preceded in her death by her parents, Brazz and Altha Chaffin, five sisters, four brothers, and a grandson, Aaron Crane..

Jimmie is survived by her husband, Cecil Hill; three daughters, Nancy Burns, Renee Gracy and her husband Jim, and Brenda Crane and her husband Duane; one son, Glenn Hill and his wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Casey Burns (Cindy), Kelly Burns (Ashley), Michael Burns(Dana), Jeff Burns (Monica), Terri Chapin (George), Bobby Sims (Angela), Lohri Sims (Anthony Corrazo), Chad Crane (Stephanie), Erika Sullivan (Aaron), Amber Dumcan, Christopher Hill, and Jared Hill (Janie); 10 great granddaughters; 9 great grandsons; 1 great-great grandson; sister, Thelma Pritchard (Scott); numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 PM in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home. Her funeral service will start at 3:00 PM with Brother Michael Keegan officiating. Burial will follow these services in Lakeside Memorial Park.
