Jesse Clinton Jarrett, Jr, 85, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 in Rockwall, Texas. Jesse was born on September 30, 1929 to Jesse Sr. and Rubye Jarrett in Reidsville, North Carolina. Jesse would go on to serve his country with honor in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Jesse would retire from the Air Force Reserves after 20 years of service. He then worked for over 14 years for the City of Dallas in heating and air conditioning. Jesse would marry Dorothy Goll on November 10, 1950 in Watonga, Oklahoma. Jesse loved the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing; working in the yard and on the farm; driving tractors and just enjoying life. Jesse loved to spend time with friends playing canasta, dominos, and all sorts of games. Jesse also loved animals. He fed and raised a family of deer on his property. But Jesse's greatest passion was for his family. Jesse loved to spend time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His quiet ways; infectious smile and compassionate spirit will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse, Sr. and Rubye Jarrett; brother, Wayne Jarrett. Those left to celebrate his life include Dorothy Jarrett, his wife of 65 years; sons Bill Frank, Jesse Jarrett III and his wife Jane; daughter, Vickie Cathey and her husband Cecil; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; his beloved step-mother, Eva jarret; sister Diane Foster; sister in law, Annie Jarrett; as well numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, August, 30, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will beheld the following day, Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Lakeside Memorial Park in Quinlan.
