Jerry Underwood

Graveside service for Jerry D. Underwood, age 82, of Emory will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Simmons Cemetery.  There will be no formal visitation.  Mr. Underwood passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital, Sulphur Springs, TX.

Jerry was born on June 21, 1939 in Cash Texas, to John Earl and Lora Lee (Martin) Underwood. He served our country in the armed forces. He was a Printer by trade

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Vavra and husband Chris, John Dale Underwood and wife, Cheryl, Cynthia Hunt; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Johnnie McCool.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
