Quinlan

Jennifer Louise Gallia (Goodall), retired Senior Division Order Analyst and resident of Quinlan, TX, passed on September 16th, 2026 - just one day shy of her 68th birthday. She was a hoot and a holler, a wonderful cook, and someone who could make a stranger feel at home within minutes.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Les; daughter, Sara and her father Robert; daughter, Mary (Jon) and her father Lance; granddaughter, Frances; brothers, Gerald, Mike (Pam); and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by parents, Jerry and Joyce.

Jennifer was born on September 17, 1958 in Oklahoma City to Jerry and Joyce Goodall. She graduated from the Catholic schools of St. Eugene and Bishop McGuiness and always loved to mention that she attended both Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma. She worked as a Senior Division Order Analyst for many years and had a keen eye for sifting through contracts before agreeing to anything for the rest of her life.

Jennifer grew up in Oklahoma City and loved spending time on her grandparents' dairy farm in Edmond, OK. She especially loved cooking in the kitchen with her grandmother, but not so much trying to catch the chickens. In high school, Jennifer had fun with her friends, boyfriend, and fellow Fighting Irish. Jennifer was intelligent, with a natural gift for both language and math. She fell in love with French, enough that she traveled to Paris and once dreamed of becoming a translator. Many friends of the Goodall family still remember weekends at the cabin at Chicken Creek on Lake Tenkiller, where the days were spent skiing and cliff diving and the nights were spent celebrating.

Jennifer desired to be helpful to those around her and could immediately make someone feel warmed and welcomed. She showed love primarily through her cooking; she wanted to share recipes with her daughters and never passed up a good trip to the grocery store. Jennifer also enjoyed showing love through gifts and kind written words. She appreciated humor and loved being silly with her daughters, like calling them (even as adults) “Sara GeeBeeWeeBee” and “Mary MooMooHead”.

Jennifer was open-minded and deeply empathetic; she loved people of every kind. She never hesitated to stand up against discrimination and injustice in any form. While much of her life was not easy or peaceful, she left a lot of light in the wake of her presence. Jennifer can now rest in peace through Christ.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Oklahoma City November 6th 6:30 - 8:30 pm at The Lume (619 W Main St, Oklahoma City, OK 73102).
