Helen Jo Johnson 95, of Athens passed away Thursday January 9, 2015 in Athens. Graveside service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, January 13. 2015 at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, Texas with Rev. Jimmy Shephard officiating. Helen was born September 20, 1919 in New Orleans, LA to Lale Varnado and Helen McCullough Varnado. Helen is survived by her daughter Julia Carroll of Grand Prairie; son Joe Copeland of Arkansas; grandchildren Rosalyn Parker, Elizabeth Woods, Kathleen and Caren Jo Lewis.
