Harlie Pipkins

Harlie Edward Pipkins, 76, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Greenville, Texas. Harlie was born December 15, 1936 to Jessie Lee and Monnie Mae Pipkins in McRae, Arkansas. Harlie service his country with honor and distinction in the United States Army. Harlie was a master plumber all of his professional life. He worked for many years at Buckner Plumbing before opening his own business. Harlie is preceded in death by his parent, Jessie Lee and Monnie Mae; one sister, Delois Mills and two brothers, William Howard Pipkins and Harold Glen Pipkins. Those left to celebrate his life include his wife, Sylvia; son Kyle; daughters, Lana and Sharon; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Mabel Hooper and her husband Dewaine and Ruth Wyatt; brothers Arlen Pipkins and Lester Pipkins; as well as a host of extended family, nieces and nephews; friends and neighbors. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Monday, November 11, 2013 also at the funeral home. The interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Ware Cemetery in Kemp, Texas.
