Gerald Cotten

Gerald Glenn Cotten passed away Friday morning August 23, 2019 in Chandler. He was born in Quinlan on November 13, 1940 the son of Hal “Buddy” and Edith Smith Cotten. Gerald married Nancy Moon on August 19, 1960 in Dallas. He retired from the City of Dallas in 2002 and was a member of Westlake Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Cotten; children, Deborah Jefferson (Mickey), Bobby Cotten (Donna), and Patti Romo; grandchildren, Brandon Cotten, Amanda Rodriguez, Krista Raef, and Katie Romo; great-grandchildren, Jayden Cotten, Kaleigh Spence, Kaitlyn Cotten, Addison Spence, Kaiser Rafe, Colton Rodriguez, Kaislyn Raef, Raleigh Cotten, Kinley Raef, Kopelan Raef, and Rylan Cotten; and brother, Marlin Cotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Larry Cotten and Kenneth Cotten.

The family will receive friends at Quinlan Funeral Home on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
