George New

George Lee New, 75; passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. George was born on January 15, 1938 to Marion and Evie New in Ashland Alabama. George met and later married Robbie Nell; the love of his life. George and Robbie had three children, Deborah, Jerry and Jeffrey. He would serve his country with honor in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict era. George was an auto mechanic most of his professional life. He worked for various automotive businesses including Western Auto and Lone Star Dodge. He even had his own garage for a time. George loved his family dearly. He enjoyed the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed. George is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Evie; and his beloved wife, Robbie Nell. Those left to celebrate his life include his daughter, Deborah Jackson; his sons, Jerry New and Jeffrey New and his wife Lori; grandchildren Tiffany and Brandon Jackson; and beloved aunt, Ira Bell Crump. A celebration of Georges Life will be held at his home at 324 Quail Run Circle, Quinlan, Texas on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
