Garland Ray Jeter Garland Ray Jeter, 80, of Fate, Texas passed away Friday April 9, 2010 after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Diane Marshall Jeter, son, Mike Jeter and his wife Kathy of Austin, Texas, daughter, Sheila Jeter Fagg and her husband Tom of Dallas, Texas, grandchildren Shera and Cole Fagg of Dallas, Texas, 3 great grandchildren and brother John Jeter of Louisiana. Ray was a native of Shreveport and graduated from Fair Park High School. He moved to Dallas in 2008 to be closer to his children. He was a longstanding member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Shrine. He also participated in the Lions Club, Rotary club and was past president of the Bossier City Jaycees. He loved being with his Family and helping children. He coached Pee-Wee football and was active in helping children with special needs get help from the Shrine Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held in Bossier City. Date is to be determined. Arrangements through Quinlan Funeral Home, Quinlan, Texas
