Ethel Hunter

Ethel Fay Hunter, 92, passed away on June 13, 2013 surrounded by her loving family in Garland. She was born on April 19, 1921 in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania to her parents William and Hazel Hawkins. Those left to celebrate her life include her children; Peggy Santmyer and family friend Kenneth, George Ann Bowden and husband Weldon, and Tom Hunter and wife Brenda, grandchildren; Robert Santmyer and wife Robin, Rene Murphy, Katheryn Hunter, and Mark Sadler and wife Janet, great grandchildren; Michael Sadler and wife Raquel, Daniel Sadler and wife Holly, Samantha Santmyer, Corey Santmyer, Kellie Gibson and friend Chad Brown, Michael Murphy and wife Sandi, Megan Dee and husband Kim, James Bowden, Trinity Murphy, Neveah Hunter and Braydon Baker, Great Great Grandchildren; Olivia Sadler, Ashton Sadler, Kaylen Santmyer, Tyson Dees, Abigail Murphy, Madilyn Murphy, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ethel is preceded by her husband, Harry Hunter, granddaughter, Cheryl Lynn Sadler, grandson, James Weldon Bowden, Jr., son-in-law, Robert Santmyer, great grandson, Jimmy Paul Murphy, her parents, William and Hazel Hawkins, and five brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Quinlan Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 " 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013 also at the funeral home.
