Emma Putman

Emma Mercer Putman, 80, of Lone Oak Texas, passed away on June 30, 2011 in Dallas. Emma was born on August 10, 1930 in Princeton, TX the daughter of Joseph and Pearly Cline. She worked as a Production Assembler at DAL AIR for many years. Emma is survived by; three daughters; Mary and husband Danny Bolch of Cumby, Paula Sandlin of Lone Oak, and Myra and husband Ricky Wright of Atlanta. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Johnny, Ricky Joe, Anthony and Jana, and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother and father and first husband George M. Mercer of Lone Oak, one brother, Willie Cline of Rowlett, and one sister Lois Butler of Garland. Emma was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church and will be missed by her family and friends. Her funeral service will be 12:00 pm Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the chapel at Quinlan Funeral Home with Brother Robert Cook of Lone Oak Baptist Church officiating. Her burial will follow the service in Hooker Cemetery in Lone Oak. Visitation with her family will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
