Elton Cox Jr.

Elton William “Bill” Cox Jr., 80, of Quinlan, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Quinlan. Bill was born on November 27, 1938 in Vicksburg, MS the son of Elton William Cox Sr. and Louise Nicy (Lewis) Cox. He married Rosemary Black on February 26, 1965 in Dallas, TX. He worked in the hospitality industry as a hotel administrator before retiring.

Bill is preceded in his death by his parents, Elton and Louise Cox and one sister, Bobbie Politz.

The family members who are cherishing the memories of his life are his wife, Rosemary Cox; daughters, Barbara Elaine Cox Kapperman and Sherry Ann Cox Moore; grandchildren, Mechelle Antionette Moore, Elton William Moore and Anna Kapperman; great grandchildren, Marissa Wallen, Nichole Wallen, Kaleb Moore, McKenzie Moore, Madison Moore, and Mallorie Rose Moore; sisters, Betty Caldwell and Johnnie Wakefield; and brother, Roy Cox.

There will be a viewing and visitation with Bill’s family. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the chapel of Quinlan Funeral Home.
