Dorothy Thomas

Dorothy Lee Thomas, 71, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in Greenville, Texas. Dorothy was born on July 24, 1942 to Grover C. and Marie Maynorin Pax, West Virginia.

Dorothy loved her family. She spent her life creating and providing a loving and safehome for her husband and her children. Dorothy wore many hats and had many interests in her life; but her greatest passion was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her loving heart, open arms and contagious smile made her the center of her family. She was loved by all; and will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Marie Maynor;husbands, J.C Thomas and Larry Angel; son, Jerry Angel; brother Doug Maynor; sisters Patty Evans and Madeline "Sissy" Angel.

Those left to celebrate her life include her sons; Christopher Angel and his wife Denise, Terry Angel and his wife Aleta; daughters, Kelly Angel,Connie Griffin, Gwen Peterson and her husband Kevin;"daughter",Teri Boney and husband Jean; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers C. D. Maynor and Bill Maynor; sisters Martha Angel and Fonda Hofstetter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on the same day, Friday, April 4, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at Lakeside Memorial Park in Quinlan, Texas.
