Dennis was born May 28, 1943 in Greensburg, Kansas to Leonard and Edith (Corey) Perley. He married Brenda Newton on July 14, 1978 in Greensburg, Kansas. He was a retired cook who enjoyed working with his hands, such as with plumbing and electrical systems. Overall, he liked to build things.

He is survived by his children, Tina Varner of Red Oak, Carolyn McCary, Dennise Parker of Illinois, Edith Brand of Mabank, Dennis Perley, Jr. of Mesquite, Ladena Perley, Leonard Perley, Belinda Dickens of Winnsboro, Rachael Perley of Canton, Jamie Newton of Terrell; brothers, Phillip Perley of Cisco, Charles Perley of Cisco; sister, Nancy Odom of Lancaster; numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces, and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Perley, parents, Leonard and Edith Perley; sisters, Joyce Perley, Jean Connell; grandson, Caiden Kirby and great-granddaughter Jessica Parker

Funeral service for Dennis Carl Perley, age 79, of Paris, Texas will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Perley passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 at his home.
