David Thomas McLeod

David Thomas McLeod, longtime resident of Quinlan, died on the evening of Friday, January 31, 2025 after a battle with cancer.

Born in Dallas on June 23, 1950, David was the fifth of six children born to Dan and Kathryn McLeod.

David enjoyed a twenty year career with the Dallas Sherriff's department as a Deputy.

He was an avid sailor, motorcyclist, sportsman, golfer, and musician. He wrote much of his own music.

He is survived by five siblings: Mary Lomonaco, Kathryn Maxwell, Victoria Rittman, Dan McLeod, and John McLeod, as well as nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

He was a loving son and brother, faithful friend, and an honest man.

David will be interred following a service to be held in New Braunfels, Texas.
